Supported Employment is a program designed to match the abilities of a consumer with the needs of an employer.

Community Employment Services go beyond placing a person in an employment setting.  A supported employment specialist works with an individual to develop a plan that will enable that person to find and maintain successful employment in the community.  Once consumers are placed in competitive employment, progress is routinely monitored and reevaluated to ensure they are satisfied and successful at work.  Support services are provided to assure people of any assistance they may require to be successful in their job.  Services may include transportation, coaching, skills training, counseling and evaluation.
