Prevocational service is intended to assist the individual with paid or unpaid employment either in the community or facility-based training activities.  These services are for the participant not expected to be able to join the general work force within one year as documented in the Individual Service Plan.  The emphasis of prevocational services is directed to habilitation rather than explicit employment objectives.
