September 14, 2009- Rutledge held its General Membership Meeting at the Rutledge Center at 55 Millard Farmer Industrial Blvd.    Nell Floyd, Rutledge President of the Board, called the general membership meeting to order.    Executive Director Bobby Welch called for votes for the three amendments that were presented to the membership at the May general membership meeting.  Amendments were as followed:   Change the organization's name from NCARC/Rutledge to Rutledge Center, Inc.  Change the NCARC/Rutledge By-Laws & Constitution to remove outdated terminology and to reflect the new name of the organization. Approve modifications to the Constitution & By-Laws policy. All amendments were approved unanimously by the membership. In other business, Board Member and Nominating Committee Chairman, Lamar Wright, read the nominating committee's recommendation for the Board of Director's for 2010 and asked the membership to approve the recommendation.  The motion was unanimously passed by the membership.    After the meeting, attendees enjoyed sandwiches, chips and desserts.   See you at the next membership meeting in May 2010!
